A date night is a rare thing in this house! We have three kids (1, 4 and 8) that require alot of attention! Often times we find something to do with the whole family! I know it is hard to take time to focus on you and your spouse or significant other but it is extremely important!

Check out my top 14 romantic and low key date ideas perfect for you and your significant other/spouse or for you and your family!

1. Movie Night 

Nothing like an old fashioned movie date! Netflix and chill if you want to get crazy. I am all about date options in pajamas.

2. Go on a Hike or Workout

Enjoying some fresh air and getting some exercise, plus a free date, is always a winner!

3. Hot Chocolate Bar 

Chilly day? Grab some hot chocolate mix or make your own, go nuts with toppings, and enjoy a chilly day cozied up together! My kids love this! We do this often at work as well.

4. Homemade Dinner and Dessert 

There’s nothing like cooking a homemade meal to make some amazing memories! Even do it with your kiddos!

5. Spa/Massage Date 

Treat each other to a nice day at the spa! He enjoys a hood massage too!

6. Ice Cream Date 

Hop in the car in your pj’s and drive to your faborite ice cream place. You don’t even need to get out!

7. Breakfast in Bed

Make this one a surprise, or cook it together and get back in bed to enjoy it!  Can you say PJ’s!

Go out and enjoy dinner at your favorite restaraunt followed by a movie! Or cook your favorite dinner and rent a movie!

Bowling is always fun and can be enjoyed by the whole family!

Look up the restaurants in your area that offer different types of food, and enjoy eating from as many different cultures as you can! Or enjoy drinks this way!

11. Recreate your First Date 

If you can, recreate your first date and take a trip down memory lane.

12. Game Night 

Take a look at the game aisle in target – I guarantee you’ll find something you both would love to play! Have a family game night and invite the kiddos!
